Abstract:
To provide a passenger conveyor that is able to prevent falling of foreign matter into a truss while suppressing deformation of a closing body.SOLUTION: A passenger conveyor according to the present disclosure includes: a truss 2; a plurality of steps 4 that are movable along an endless moving path including a forward path portion and a return path portion and that are supported by the truss 2; and a skirt guard 6 disposed along the forward path portion and facing a side surface of each step 4 moving along the forward path portion. Each step 4 has a closing mechanism 44 and an interlocking mechanism 45, and the closing mechanism 44 has a pair of closing bodies 440. Each closing body 440 can be positioned at an advanced position and a retracted position by the interlocking mechanism 45. When the closing body 440 is at the advanced position, the gap between each step 4 and the skirt guard 6 is closed by the closing body 440. Each closing body 440 of each step 4 in a reverse posture B is located at the retracted position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
