Abstract:
To provide a passenger conveyor which can appropriately connect a brake even when fault and abnormality occur in a control part.SOLUTION: A passenger conveyor includes a first control part and a second control part which control connection/release of a brake based on presence/absence of actuation of a safety device that detects abnormality of the passenger conveyor. On a power source line which supplies DC power supplied from the brake power source device to an electromagnetic solenoid, a first contact point whose opening/closing is controlled by the first control part and a second contact point whose opening/closing is controlled by the second control part are provided in series, the first control part is configured to achieve the brake connection/release function by allowing the computer to execute a program, the second control part is configured to achieve the brake connection/release function by a relay sequence circuit including a predetermined electromagnetic relay that opens/closes the second contact point, the predetermined electromagnetic relay opens the second contact point when the safety device is actuated and an excitation voltage is eliminated, and a capacitor is connected between excitation voltage input terminals of the predetermined electromagnetic relay.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
