Abstract:
To provide a password input device for a vehicle suppressing vehicle cost, while protecting confidentiality.
This password input device for a vehicle is used for the vehicle of applying a smart key system 1 for starting an engine on condition that a power switch 40 equipped in the vehicle is operated when determining as YES that a normal smart key 2 is used through electric key authentication. The power switch 40 is used as a password input means for registering and inputting a password required for permitting vehicle control.
