Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a patch having excellent water vapor transmission low irritation to the skin and excellent releasability of medicine.
CONSTITUTION: A tacky agent comprising a rubber-based tacky agent, cellulose particles of one or more celluloses selected from the group consisting of crystalline cellulose, methyl cellulose and hydroxypropyl cellulose, having 1-150μm particle diameters, a polyhydric alcohol, water and a medicine is laminated to one side of a substrate having water vapor transmission and the cellulose particles exist in a particulate state in the tacky agent layer to give a patch. The cellulose particles of one or more celluloses selected from the group consisting of crystalline cellulose, methyl cellulose and hydroxypropyl cellulose, having 1-150μm particle diameters, are dispersed into a mixed solution of the polyhydric alcohol and water to give a dispersion. The dispersion and the medicine are blended with the rubber-based tacky agent and the blend is applied to one side of the substrate having water vapor transmission by hot-melt coating.
