Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patch measuring instrument capable of accurately detecting the position of a patch constituting a control strip to measure accurate color density data.
SOLUTION: In the patch measuring instrument 27, a data memory part 271 stores printed matter image data including the control strip on printed matter. A patch position detection part 273 detects the position of the patch on the basis of the value of pixels constituting the printed matter image data stored in the data memory part 271. A color density measuring part 274 measures the color density of the patch positionally detected by the patch position detection part 273.
