PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a route guide device having excellent visibility and enabling a user to readily grasp what entity or event a character tag explains.SOLUTION: A handheld terminal 10 includes escape route search means 140 that searches an escape route, picture display means 170 that displays a scenery picture which is produced while a user is imaging, map display means 150 that displays a map indicating the escape route, which is obtained by the escape route search means 140, and landmarks, air tag display means 180 that displays an air tag (first expanded reality image), which serves as information to be used to guide the escape route, while superposing the air tag on the scenery picture, character tag display means 182 that displays a character tag (second expanded reality image) associated with the air tag, and link line display means 181 that displays a link line one end of which is the air tag or landmark and the other end of which is the character tag. Herein, each of character tags is displayed while being fixed at a nearly identical position.
