PURPOSE: To enable printing on a curved surface of a glass ware through a screen printing directly to the surface, by bringing the curved surface of the glass ware, which is rotating, in contact with an inclined surface of a screen.

CONSTITUTION: A circular screen 1 made of stainless steel fiber is fixed to a screen holder 5 by a screw 4, and supported by a support 10. A contact angle between a glass ware 12 and the screen 1 may be adjusted with a universal joint 15 by a supporting pipe 14 of a supporting device 13 which supports the glass ware with a vacuum device. If the support 10 is lowered with screws 11, 11... of the support 10, the center of the screen 1 is lowered, and a surface of the screen which is inclined upwards in the direction towards the screen edges 2 is formed. If the support 10 is raised, a surface inclined downwards is obtained. Through adjusting ups and down of the support, either exterior or interior peripheral surface of the glass ware 12 may be brought in contact with the inclined surface of the screen 1. The screen 1 extends or shrinks to some extent to conform to the curved surface of the glass ware, and if the glass ware 12 and the screen 1 are rotated, a desired pattern may be printed.
