Abstract:
PURPOSE:To facilitate the maintenance of a matching dictionary by extracting the partial pattern of an input pattern used for a detail identification and a detail identification rule with a mark attached to respective partial patterns of the matching dictionary. CONSTITUTION:An input pattern is factorized to a partial pattern by a partial pattern factorizing part 1 and feature-extracted by a feature extracting part 2. A matching part 3 executes the matching processing of the given feature information and the standard pattern feature information registered to a matching dictionary 4 and activates a detail identifying part 5 as needed. The detail identifying part 5 executes the detail identification with a detail identifying dictionary 6. At the matching dictionary 4, feature information A-Z of the partial pattern to constitute a standard pattern is equipped concerning respective categories C1-Cn and the identification mark is stuck to the feature of the partial pattern used for the detail identification. The detail identifying dictionary 6 is referred to with the identification mark as a key.
