PURPOSE: To prevent discoloration of a surface veneer plate through prevention of the occurrence of alkali pollution and metallic pollution by a method wherein a patty for repairing a veneer comprises a filler, a coloring agent, and a vehicle.
CONSTITUTION: A patty for repairing a veneer comprises a filler, a coloring agent, and a vehicle. Constitution of the filler is such that pH concentration is low enough to prevent the occurrence of alkali concentration pollution to wood and a pH concentration level is set to 7 or less. The coloring agent is formed of an organic pigment not containing a metal causing the occurrence of metallic pollution to a wood and the vehicle is of a solvent type. The part to be filled of the surface of a veneer is filled with a patty for repairing a veneer, and a veneer plate is laminated on the surface thereof to form a face plate. This constitution prevents the occurrence of alkali pollution and metallic pollution owing to the use of a patty for repairing a veneer and prevents discoloration of a surface veneer plate owing to the pollution.
