Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pavement block and a method for manufacturing the same, capable of improving workability when paving the blocks, of preventing corners of the blocks from contacting each other due to displacement, and of preventing the corners from chipping off and exfoliating.SOLUTION: A pavement block 100 which is paved on a road surface includes: a block body 110 having four side faces 112, 113 and four projecting corners 115 formed of the four side faces 112, 113; and planer-plate shaped corner joint-keeps 120 projecting in the thickness direction of the planer plate, and being on one of the side faces forming each of the four projecting corners 115. One side face 122 of the joint-keep 120 is formed on the same plane as the other side face forming each projecting corner 115. Thus, one side face 122 of the joint-keep 120 is on the same plane as the other side face in the projecting corner 115. Accordingly, the corners of the pavement blocks 100 can be prevented from contacting each other due to displacement and prevented from chipping off and exfoliating.
