To provide a pavement structure excellent in water permeability and water retentivity, and capable of maintaining temperature rise suppressing effects on a paved surface over a relatively long period.
A pavement structure 10 includes a subgrade 12 formed by placing kneaded material consisting of sandy soil material, cement-based solidification agent, granulator and water on a ground 11, a roadbed 13 formed by placing kneaded material consisting of crushed stones, cement-based solidification agent, granulator and water on the subgrade 12, and a pavement layer 14 formed by placing porous asphalt on the roadbed 13. Water such as rainwater falling on a paved surface 14a permeates into the pavement layer 14, the roadbed 13, and the subgrade 12, in sequence, and it is held in cavities existing in their aggregate structures. The pavement structure 10, in which three layers of the pavement layer 14, the roadbed 13, and the subgrade 12 have water permeability and water retentivity, can hold a greater amount of water than a conventional pavement structure.
