Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a water-permeable paving composite material by a method wherein a planar formed material is formed as a first layer by kneading a high-temperature inorganic aggregate granular material of a specific particle diameter with an ordinary-temperature thermoplastic waste plastic granular material in specific amounts, a mixture of a granular waste rubber with a urethane resin in specific amounts is casted as a second layer, and both the layers are thermally formed.
CONSTITUTION: A kneaded material of 80 (90-75)wt.% heated granular aggregate containing a crushed granite of 5-5.0 (2-10)mm particle diameter, 18 (10-25)wt.% waste poly and 2wt.% waste polyethylene melted by a bidirectional twin screw is formed into a flat plate as a first layer under pressure in a mold. An adhesive is applied to the surface thereof by spray coating. After a mixture separately prepared out of 88 (95-85)wt.% waste rubber particle of 2-3mm particle diameter, 9wt.% one-pack type urethane resin, and 3wt.% red pigment is casted and cooled to form a second layer. The second layer and the first layer are bonded to each other under pressure. The content of the aggregate is determined to be 90-75wt.% because the content of 90wt.% or more results in the shortage of a product strength and the content of 75-wt.% or less means the excessive loading of the resin resulting in a lower water permeability. In this manner, a water-permeable paving composite material is formed.
