Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve water permeability and reduce the pavement cost by incorporating a Portland cement into aggregates consisting of porous granulated slag particles and annealed slag particles as a binder.
SOLUTION: This paving material 14 is obtained by blending 1 pts.wt. Portland cement as the binder, 2-10 pts.wt. porous granulated slag particles, 0.1-0.7 pts.wt. appealed slag particles and concrete admixture. A frame work 10 constituted of long sized two parallel plates 11 along the longitudinal direction and a bar 12 is installed on a roadbed 2 tamped sufficiently by a roller or the like, and a joint sealer 13 is arranged inside the bar 12. Next, the paving material 14 mixed with water is filled inside the formwork 14 and is tampered by a vibrating plate after rolling.
