To provide a paving material repairing method for easily repairing a newly laid paving material if peeled from a boundary portion between the new paving material and an existing paving material or a curbstone, and preventing expansion of peeling after laying or application of the paving material, to thereby extend the service life of the paving material.
The paving material constitutes drainage pavement (also designated as porous pavement) 4 which is set up by laying aggregate 2 such as hard aggregate or soft aggregate including rubber chips on an impermeable substrate layer 1 made of asphalt, concrete, or the like, by a resin binder 3, as shown in Fig.1, for instance, and has a void ratio of 5% or more and an intercommunicating porosity of 40% or less. According to the paving material repairing method, especially when the drainage pavement 4 is laid adjacently to the existing paving material 5 (e.g. asphalt pavement, concrete pavement, or a curbstone), in order to prevent the drainage pavement 4 from peeling from the existing paving material along the boundary portion X, or to prevent a peeled portion from expanding, an adhesive W is poured into the boundary portion X to be interposed, and then hardened.
