Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide paving stones capable of remarkably reducing execution cost from that of conventional stone pitching work by enabling execution of the stone pitching work not by a conventional mason but even by a block worker (earth worker), and simplifying execution of joint width.

CONSTITUTION: A paving stone is characterized as follows. A block member 1 is cut from natural granite to a rectangular form by a mason and plural, e.g. two joint width setting members 9 composed of a synthetic resin are fixed to respective sides (5A) and (7A) of the one side (5A) of the cut block member 1 and another side (7A) perpendicularly intersecting the one side (5A) at a suitable interval with an adhesive. Furthermore, a cracked grain member 3 is formed in the lower part of the block member 1.
