Abstract:
To provide a payment slip processing system that uses a multi-payment network and can create accurate data by correcting some data even if data is misread by OCR recognition at a financial institution.SOLUTION: In a payment slip processing system, a reception terminal 15 of a branch office 5 of a financial institution acquires OCR data obtained by reading barcode information and a character code of a payment slip 3 with an OCR device 14. When payment slip issuer information indicated by the barcode read from the payment slip 3 is a local government, the reception terminal 15 confirms consistency between the payment slip issue information, payment deadline information, and payment amount information respectively indicated by the acquired OCR data and barcode information, and if there is no consistency, corrects the OCR data to a numerical value of the barcode data, and transmits the determined OCR data to a local government system 23 through a multi-payment network 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
