Abstract:
To provide a technology that reduces a labor of closing process in a settlement system.SOLUTION: A settlement system is comprised of: a plurality of product registration devices including a master unit and a slave unit; and a settlement device that communicates with each of the plurality of product registration devices and makes a settlement based on received settlement information. The master unit comprises: a first reception unit that accepts a theoretical value of an amount to be settled by the settlement device and an amount of money in the settlement device; a second reception unit that accepts an amount of money settled by the master unit and an amount of money settled by the slave unit; and a first processing unit that executes the closing process of the master unit that totals an amount of money based on the theoretical value, the amount of the settlement device, the amount of the master unit and the amount of the slave unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
