Abstract:
PURPOSE:To read in a flag simply and surely from the PCM signal and additional information recorded on a multitrack, by locating the flag immediately after a synchronizing mark and simplifying pickup of the flag information. CONSTITUTION:The flag 5, PCM signal, error correction inspection bit 2, and inspection bit 3 for error detection and the like are recorded in order immediately after the synchronizing mark 4 of the multitrack. The reproducing data in N-track of this format is processed at the shift register 13, the output at the terminal QB of the register 13 is inverted into high level and the output of the synchronizing pattern mark detection gate 15 is into low level at the mark 4, and the flag is removed via the flag removing gate 16. Similarly, the flag from other tracks is picked up from the removal gate 26 and processed at the gate 17 and monostable multivibrator 18, allowing to detect the flag simply and surely from the PCM signal and additional information recorded on the multitrack, even if reproducing of one tracks is unfeasible.
