Title:
PD-1, RECEPTOR OF B7-4 AND USE OF THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2011105751
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an agent which modulates a signaling via PD-1.

PD-1 is identified as a receptor of B7-4. B7-4 can inhibit the activation of an immunocyte when it is bonded to an inhibitory receptor on an immunocyte. Therefore, modulation of immune response is induced by modulating costimulatory or inhibitory signal of the immunocyte by administrating an agent which modulates PD-1, B7-4 and interaction between B7-4 and PD-1.
