Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the power efficiency of an amplifier, to suppress nonlinear distortion produced from the amplifier and to limit a peak of a transmission modulation signal with respect to one channel transmission in the peak controller provided in a radio communication system.
SOLUTION: This controller has an orthogonal base band modulation section 102 that receives a digital signal 101 and provides an output of an orthogonal base band signal 103, a power calculation section 104 that obtains a power 105 of the transmission orthogonal base band signal 103, and a power limit section 106 that uses the obtained power 105 to limit the power of the transmission orthogonal base band signal 103. Thus, the power efficiency of the amplifier is improved and nonlinear distortion produced from the amplifier is suppressed and a peak of a transmission modulation signal is limited with respect to one channel transmission.
