Abstract:
The invention concerns a device (1) for mounting a pedal (2), in particular a brake pedal, of a motor vehicle, comprising a support (8) whereon the pedal (2) is mounted, in accordance with a first position, via a main axis of rotation (6). The invention is characterized in that it comprises a drive lever (12), adapted to be linked to a fixed part (19) of the vehicle, and causing said main axis (6) to be displaced relative to the support (8), if said support (8) moves relative to said fixed part (10) along a preferred direction, from the first position up to a second position, on the support (8), located, relative to the support (8), upstream of the first position with regard to the displacement direction of the support (8) relative to the fixed part (19).
