Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance an arousal level of a driver without generating an alarm sound and an alarm message.SOLUTION: A pedal device includes a pedal 104 which pivots around a pedal rotation axis in accordance with a stepping operation of a foot of a driver, an arousal condition estimating part 402 which estimates an arousal state of the driver, and a pedal driving part 200 which transmits force to a foot of a driver by driving the pedal 103 when the driver is estimated to be not in a state of arousal. This constitution enables enhancing an arousal level of the driver without generating an alarm sound and an alarm message.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
