Abstract:
This is related to an accelerator pedal and a brake pedal of an automobile.PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which does not cause stepping mistake of an accelerator pedal and a brake pedal by systematically reforming the accelerator pedal and the brake pedal in order to prevent such an accident that an aged person is apt to cause such a stepping accident because of getting into a panic, in the light of serious accidents due to stepping mistake of the accelerator pedal and the brake pedal which occur frequently accompanying even loss of lives of persons, regarding to the accelerator pedal and the brake pedal of an automobile.SOLUTION: An accelerator pedal 4 is rotatably attached to a support 3 fixed to a brake arm 1 or a part thereof and, when electric signals from an accelerator pedal detection switch 12 and a brake pedal detection switch 13 are doubly detected by an electronic circuit, the electric signals are transmitted to a control unit and the control unit controls an electronic control fuel ejection system and forcibly sets rotation number of an engine into an idling state and retains the state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
