This pedestal for conveying the film roll wrapping body has a plurality of support columns provided on a base part, a horizontal support member 25 stretched between these support columns, a support part 25a provided on the horizontal support member 25 to support both side the end parts of a core 3, and a fixing member 27 provided in the vicinity of the support part 25a to fix the core 3. The fixing member 27 has a fixing bar 28 provided on a flat face 25b of the horizontal support member 25 so as to turn freely and a side plate part 31 formed integrally with the bar 28. The side plate part 31 is positioned on an end face of the core 3 or in the vicinity of the core 3 when the fixing bar 28 fixes the core 3 supported on the support part 25a on the horizontal support member 25 to prevent the travel of the film roll wrapping body including the core 3 into the axial direction.
