Abstract:
To alleviate secondary collision and collision due to falling on a road surface and protect pedestrians.
This pedestrian protecting device is provided with a pedestrian holding air bag 16 mounted to a vehicle front side part to cover and hold a pedestrian at the time of collision with the pedestrian and with a pedestrian moving device 18 for moving the pedestrian held by the pedestrian holding air bag 16 to a vehicle side part together with the pedestrian holding air bag 16.
