Abstract:
To provide a pellet production apparatus capable of producing pellets being uniform and having high strength, regardless of a position of a group of holes of a die.SOLUTION: The pellet production apparatus comprises: a box body having an inner space, and having an input port for charging a material and a discharge port for discharging pellets produced respectively formed on an upper part and on a lower part; a die which is provided so as to horizontally partition the inner space, and is formed so that a group of holes including many open holes, which penetrate in the vertical direction, extend annularly; and a push-in roller provided on an upper side of the die, which rolls on the group of holes to thereby pulverize the material charged from the input port between the die and to push the material into the respective open holes and compress the material while making it pass through the respective open holes to form pellets. On a push-in surface of the push-in roller, there are provided a plurality of guide grooves for guiding the material to the vicinity of a center part of the push-in surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
