Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assuredly enhance a heat exchanging efficiency with pellets by spraying uniformly the pellets in an econotherm type heat exchanger.
SOLUTION: A base plate 24 is horizontally arranged with a space below the attached cylinder 31 of a pellet duct 20 and a plurality of nozzle holes for jetting air radially from an air duct 26 are divided into three groups. Three pipes 37a, 37b and 37c respectively communicate with the groups of nozzle holes. The quantity of air jetted from the respective groups of nozzle holes is adjusted by flow regulating valves 36a, 36b and 36c provided respectively in the pipes 37a, 37b and 37c so that pellets 9 dropped from the pellet duct 20 and accumulated on the base plate 24 are uniformly sprayed in the circumferential direction of the pellet duct 20 by air jets from the respective groups of nozzle holes.
