Abstract:

PURPOSE: To automatically restore the pendulum control again when the pendulum control stops because of the failure of the detection of an on-ground subsidiary element, as for a pendulm controller for a vehicle.
CONSTITUTION: A pendulum controller judges if the on-ground subsidiary element signal is a regular signal or not by collating the traveling distance which is integration-calculated by a traveling distance counting sensor for a vehicle, on-ground subsidiary element signal for detecting an on-ground subsidiary element laid on the ground from on a vehicle, and the traveling distance data which is previously memorized, and suspends the pendulum control output when the on-ground subsidiary element signal deflects outside the distance collation range of the traveling distance data. The deflection out of the distance collation range is obtained from the traveling distance data of the stop point of the pendulum control output and the traveling distance from the stop point to the next on-ground subsidiary element, and the traveling distance data memorized in a accordance with the next on-ground subsidiary element is corrected on the basis of the deflection, and when the on-ground subsidiary element signal detected by the vehicle comes into the distance collation range, the pendulum control output is automatically restored again.
