To provide an infiltration accelerating type storage facility attaining the improvement of infiltration capacity of stored rainwater into the ground and the early recovery of storage capacity.
The infiltration accelerating type storage facility 1 comprises a high water level maintaining tank 8 arranged in a topsoil layer 2 to allow rainwater overflowing from an initial treatment tank 6, to flow in, and a storage tank 10 into which the rainwater overflowing from the high water level maintaining tank 8 flows. The infiltration accelerating storage facility 1 further comprises an infiltrating means 28 serving for communication between the high water level maintaining tank 8 and a gravel layer 34 existing under an impermeable layer 36a below the infiltration accelerating type storage facility 1, and a storage tank side movement permitting means 42 permitting the movement of rainwater from the storage tank 10 to the high water level maintaining tank 8 when the water level in the storage tank 10 is higher than the water level in the high water level maintaining tank 8.
