To solve the problem that a conventional cloth, because a cloth substrate is flexible, and a plurality of protective plates are separated at constant intervals, is soft and flexible as a whole and is not suitable completely sometimes for some applications.
A cloth includes the cloth substrate and protective plate aggregates which are fixed to the cloth substrate and arranged at constant intervals. Each aggregate includes the first layer material fixed to the cloth substrate, and the second layer material which is positioned back to back to the cloth substrate and joined to the first layer material on the surface of the first layer material. The second layer material has properties different from those of the first layer material and selected usually to meet the demands of an application in which the cloth is designed.
