Abstract:
To enable an accurate measurement, by which at the time of making a penetration test by a Sweden sounding test method, a physically very hard work can be dispensed with and a personal error can be minimized.
A penetration test rod 11 is penetrated into the ground by the contraction driving force of a fluid pressure cylinder 10, and load applied to the penetration test rod 11 is previously determined in several degrees from the contraction driving force of the fluid pressure cylinder 10. By the contraction driving force of the fluid pressure cylinder 10 based on the determined load, the penetration rod 11 is penetrated into the ground, thereby measuring the penetration amount of the penetration test rod 11 based on the determined load.
