Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct asymmetric α-amination of aldehydes high-stereoselectively using peptide catalyst.SOLUTION: This catalyst is composed of a peptide and a carrier, the peptide containing an amino acid represented by formula (SAA)-(AA)-(AA2) or (SAA1)-(SAA)-(AA)-(AA2) at the N-terminus thereof. (In the formula, SAA, SAA1 independently represent an amino acid having a secondary amino group; AA represents a α,α-disubstituted amino acid; SAA2 represents one or two natural or non natural amino acids.) The C-terminus thereof is bonded to the carrier and immobilized. In the presence of the peptide catalyst, an aldehyde is reacted with an azodicarboxylate derivative.
