NEW MATERIAL: Peptides represented by formula I [wherein R is hydroxy which may have a 1-6C alkyl, a halogen or a 1-6C alkoxy, R1 is hydroxy or mercapto, R2 is a 1-6C alkyl, R3 is selectively hydroxy, mercapto or a 1-6C alkyl substituted by a ureido group, R4 is hydroxy, mercapto, a 1-2C alkylthio, carboxy or H substituted by ureido or a 1-6C alkyl, n is 0 or 1, R5 is carboxy and C-atoms marked with (a) and (b) are present in R and S cofigurations).
USE: This new material has the inhibition action of an enzyme system and is useful for an immunodeficiency disease, a tumor type disease and muscular dystrophy and increasing opined induced analygesia.
PROCESS: As shown by a reaction system, a compd. represented by formula II and a compd. represented by formula III are condensed in the presence of a condensation agent to obtain the compd. represented by the formula I. The compd. represented by a formula II is synthesized from a compd. of R1=OH in the compds. represented by the formula II.
