To provide an isolated peptide.SOLUTION: The isolated peptide comprises an amino acid sequence arranged in a space and a configuration that allow interaction of the peptide with a DNA binding domain (DBD) of p53 through at least one residue in the DBD when pCAP 250 (SEQ ID NO: 1) binds to the DBD, where the peptide at least partially reactivates a mutant p53 protein, with the proviso that the peptide is not of specific sequence numbers.SELECTED DRAWING: None
