Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a percutaneous absorption preparation having improved absorption of medicine with high lipophilic nature, containing N-lauroylsarcosine and guaiazulene and/or farnesol.
CONSTITUTION: A percutaneous absorption preparation containing 0.1-20wt.% N-lauroylsarcosine having reducing action on barrier ability of keratin layer and 0.3-20wt.% guaiazulene and/or farnesol having promoting action on permeation of epidermal cell, a base and a medicine. A tacky base is used as the base in the case of tape agent or cataplasm and a non-tacky agent is used in the case of patch. A medicine capable of percutaneously permeating biomembrane, especially having high lipophilic nature and relatively high barrier of epidermal cell is used as the medicine and indomethacin, estradiol, hydrocortisone, betamethasone, etc., may be cited as the medicine.
