Abstract:
To treat human requiring estrogen agonist-antagonist therapy by administering an effective amount of estrogen agonist-antagonist by percutaneous means.
An effective amount of estrogen agonist-antagonist [preferably a compound of formula I (G is a group of formula II or the like; R is H, OH, F or Cl), e.g. (-)-cis-6-phenyl-5-[4-(2-pyrrolidin-1-ylethoxy)-phenyl]-5,6,7,8- tetrahydronaphtharene-2-ol is administered by percutaneous means (preferably percutaneous patch). Preferably, the estrogen agonist-antagonist is administered to human in a substantially equivalent amount of 10-500 μg/day for 3 to 14 days.
