Abstract:
To provide a perforated metal plate most suitable for forming a vacant body having a network-shaped section which is a component for an exhaust emission control device, a manufacturing method thereof, the component for an exhaust emission control device using this perforated metal plate, and an inexpensive and easily practicable manufacturing method thereof.
Fins 8 at holes 3 in the perforated metal plate 1 with the fins in which a plurality of holes 3 are formed in a long, flat strip-like metal sheet 2 are folded to one surface side from the metal sheet 2 to obtain the component.
