Abstract:
To provide a periodontal disease examination system, examination chip, and examination method capable of objectively examining the periodontal disease without depending on a degree of proficiency of a doctor and capable of reusing the examination chip.SOLUTION: The periodontal disease examination system comprises: an examination chip including first and second interdigital electrodes adjoining, with them insulated from each other, first and second flow passages located along the first and second electrodes, where the first and second electrodes are exposed to the inside thereof, and in which a liquid sample flows, and a third electrode disposed to face the first and second electrodes via the first and second flow passages; a DC power supply device for applying a DC voltage between the first electrode, and the second/third electrodes; an impedance measuring device for measuring impedance characteristics between the first electrode and second electrode; and a determination device for determining presence/absence of an onset of the periodontal disease based on the impedance characteristics measured by the impedance measuring device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
