Abstract:
To improve the adhesive strength of a permanent magnet member for VCM (Voice Coil Motor) to a yoke.
The permanent magnet member 10 for VCM comprises: a magnet element having a fan-shaped flat face including a short rim 11, a long rim 12 at a predetermined distance from the short rim 11, and a pair of side rims 13 and 14 connecting the short rim 11 and the long rim 12; and a corrosion-resistant film applied to the surface of the magnet element. The permanent magnet member 10 for VCM is so constituted that the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value of its thickness is 10 to 150 μm.
