PURPOSE: To obtain a permanent magnet rotor which can be secured at a predetermined position without shifting the position of a segment type permanent magnet at the time of integral molding of resin.

CONSTITUTION: The permanent magnet rotor of a canned motor pump is provided, on the end face of a pipe 12, with a nonmagnetic annular spacer 20 covering the end face of a permanent magnet. At the time of integral molding of resin, the end face of the segment type permanent magnet 10 is retained by the annular spacer 20 and prevented from being shifted by the pressure of fused resin.
