Abstract:
A permanent magnet synchronous motor diagnostic device (7) includes: a negative-sequence current calculator (4) that calculates a negative-sequence current, based on magnitudes of a plurality of phase currents flowing through a permanent magnet synchronous motor (2) that rotates a load; and a deterioration diagnoser (5) that diagnoses deterioration of a plain bearing (9) supporting the permanent magnet synchronous motor (2), based on the negative-sequence current.
