Abstract:
To enable the measurement of hydraulic conductivity from low permeability ground to medium-high permeability ground with a single permeability test device.SOLUTION: Airtight water tanks for pouring test water in a permeability test device are composed of two sets of airtight water tanks, a first airtight water tank with a small volume located between an outer cylindrical body and an inner cylindrical body using inner and outer double cylinders with different diameters, and a second airtight water tank of large volume located within the inner cylinder. Openings for air inflow and water injection are provided in a lower part of the outer cylinder and a lower part of the inner cylinder, respectively. By connecting the second airtight water tank to the first airtight water tank through the openings for air inflow and water injection in the lower part of the inner cylindrical body, it is possible to measure hydraulic conductivity in low-permeability ground mainly composed of the first airtight water tank, and to measure hydraulic conductivity in medium-to-high-permeability ground in which the first and second airtight tanks are combined.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
