Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely prevent damage receiving the upstream face of the lower part of a steel pipe-made column material by the repeated collision of avalanche including comparatively small-sized gravels during normal time and during intermediate and small flood without enlarging the diameter and thickness of the whole column material.
SOLUTION: In the permeable erosion control dam provided with the steel pipe-made column material 2, a protection means is provided on the upstream face of the lower part of the column material 2. The protection means comprises a filler 5 comprising mortar or concrete filled into the half part of the inside of the column material 2.
