Abstract:
To solve the problem with conventional personal authentication devices that it is difficult for the person to be authenticated to keep in mind the information for authentication that is used in personal authentication.SOLUTION: It is possible to authenticate a person's identity using information for authentication that the person to be authenticated can easily recall by a personal authentication device 100 that comprises: a related information acquisition unit 141 that acquires related information that is related to the action of the person to be authenticated; a specific information acquisition unit 145 that acquires specific information to identify one or more pieces of related information that are inputted by the person to be authenticated; an information for authentication storage unit 117 in which the related information specified by specific information is stored as information for authentication corresponding to the person to be authenticated; an input information acceptance unit 151 that accepts input information for authentication that is inputted by a user; and a personal authentication unit 153 that authenticates, on the basis of correspondence between the inputted information for authentication and the information for authentication stored in the information for authentication storage unit 117, that the user is the person to be authenticated who corresponds to the information for authentication.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
