Abstract:
To provide a simple and economical method and apparatus for storing personalized genomic information and detecting possible gene mutations.
An apparatus comprising a solid surface on which a gene library obtained from an individual is permanently bound is provided by the present invention. A method for coating or linking a gene or genes obtained from an individual on to the apparatus by physical, chemical, biochemical or enzymatic means, wherein the gene or genes are bound permanently to the solid carrier is provided by the present invention.
