Abstract:
To provide a simple means for easily removing a module from a garment support structure, to which the module has been attached, wherein in many embodiments of the present invention the garment support body is a helmet.SOLUTION: A personal protection system includes a headband 52 to which a face shield is attached. A cooling strip 120 is attached to the headband. The cooling strip includes at least one thermoelectric cooling module. A draw strip 128 formed from a flexible conductive material is also a part of the cooling strip. The draw strip is joined to an endothermic surface of the thermoelectric cooling module and extends outward from the module. An urging assembly directs a part of the draw strip spaced apart from the thermoelectric cooling module to the skin of an individual wearing the personal protection system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
