Abstract:
To provide a pest repellent excellent in repellent effect on pest, especially flying pest, safe and less in odor, a pest repellent composition, and an evasion method of pest.SOLUTION: There are provided [1] a pest repellent having surface tension at 25°C of 40 mN/m or less, and viscosity by a B type rotation viscometer at 23°C of 1200 mPa s or less, and containing one or more kind of liquid oily component selected from a group consisting of a silicone oil, an ester oil, an ether oil, a hydrocarbon oil, aliphatic higher alcohol having 14 or more carbon atoms, and polyalcohol as an active component, [2] a pest repellent composition containing the liquid oily component and no effective amount of other pest repellents, and [3] an evasion method of pest by applying the pest repellent or the pest repellent composition to a human skin surface so that amount of the liquid oily component is 0.1 mg or more per 1 cm.SELECTED DRAWING: None
