Abstract:

PURPOSE: The title dust having suppressed static electrification in the spray pipe of a duster, comprising a specific pesticide powder, a (hydroxy) fatty acid, a (higher alkyl) arylsulfonic acid or its salt.

CONSTITUTION: A pesticide dust comprising calcium carbonate, particularly cut calcium carbonate, wherein fine powder of particle size ≤10μ is eliminated, as a main carrier is incorporated with a fatty acid, e.g. acetic, oxalic, or succinic acid, or a hydroxy fatty acid, e.g. lactic or malic acid, an arylsulfonic acid, e.g. toluenesulfonic acid, a higher alkalarylsulfonic acid, e.g. dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid, or its salt, e.g. alkali (earth) metal salt, as a static inhibitor. The inhibitor suppresses the static electrification of spray pipe im a duster, thus permitting safe operation.
