To provide a harness for pet, which can be easily attached and perfectly fitted to a body of a pet, regardless of a difference of a skeleton and a body type, even in a pet whose body is soft, such as a cat, and which is not detached in use.SOLUTION: A harness for a pet comprises: a harness main body 2 fitted to a tetrapod which is kept as a pet P; and a lead 3 fitted to the harness main body 2. The harness main body 2 comprises: a strip shaped abdomen belt body 4 covering an abdomen of the pet P along a cross direction; a rear belt body 5 crossing the abdomen belt body 4 from a rear end side of the abdomen belt body 4, extending in a lateral direction and surrounding a trunk of the pet P; front belt bodies 6 extending in a lateral direction from a front end side of the abdomen belt body 4, formed into an orbiting state to surround a base end side of a forearm of the pet P, and whose tip end reaches a middle part of the abdomen belt body 4; a movable engagement body 7 engaging the tip ends of the front belt bodies 6 extending in the lateral direction to the middle part of the abdomen belt body 4 and being movable to front/rear sides of the abdomen belt body 4; and lead fitting tools 8 each of which is provided on the middle part of one/the other of the front belt bodies 6 and to which the lead 3 is fitted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
