Abstract:
To provide a sucroferric oxyhydroxide particle having a certain particle size distribution, to provide use of the particle for producing a pharmaceutical composition, and to provide a method for producing a pharmaceutical composition using the particle.SOLUTION: Provided is a sucroferric oxyhydroxide particle containing iron (III) oxyhydroxide, sucrose, and a mixture of one or more starches, at least 60% of the particles in the particle size distribution having d50 i) between 4 and 200 μm and/or ii) between 30 μm and 80 μm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
